Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile?

You can tell within minutes of meeting someone who is self-conscious about their teeth that something is array. You might not guess right away that it is their teeth that they are self-conscious about, though. You may think they are sad, melancholy, or even rude. Our mouths communicate more than just the words that come out of them. People watch the way our lips turn up or down and interpret all the variations of these movements with meanings that we may or may not intend.

When you spend day in and day out concerned with making sure no one sees your teeth, you may be ruining relationships or even risking job opportunities. Not to mention, you can’t ever be truly in the moment and enjoying life.

Our dental health is so important, not just for aesthetic or emotional reasons but for our over-all body function as well, and it needs to be cared for consistently from our first tooth to our last tooth. Unfortunately, we don’t often have a lot of say over our early dental care, which lies in the hands of our caretakers, but as adults, there is no excuse to educate yourself and insure that your dental health is in good condition.
