The Importance of At-Home Care

Everyone knows they should take care of their teeth, but not everyone understands just how important it is until it is, unfortunately, too late. There really is no excuse for not taking care of your teeth. There are simple things that you can do as part of your daily routine which will make all of the difference in keeping your teeth clean, healthy and beautiful.

For example: Brush your teeth at least twice a day. Make it a habit. Do it when you wake up and before bed. Brushing after you eat is even better! Remember to change out your toothbrush every three months and to brush in small, circular motions around the gums and teeth. Don’t forget to brush all the sides of the teeth, not just the front! Also, don’t forget to brush your tongue! Fungi and bacteria can live on your tongue, and it needs to be cared for just as much as your teeth and gums. Lastly, flossing and mouthwash can easily be incorporated into your dental care routine. It doesn’t take long when you do it daily.
