Meet Dr. Barksdale

Dr. Barksdale, a native of Baton Rouge, has been practicing dentistry since 1975. He is a graduate of LSU, and LSU School of Dentistry. Dr. Barksdale is an accredited member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and a member of the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation. He is also a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology and the American Society of Osseointegration.

In addition to practicing dentistry, Dr. Barksdale continues to be a role model for others. He has worked with numerous specialists throughout Louisiana, lecturing and teaching the latest trends and techniques in dentistry. Dr. Barksdale enjoys being one of the top qualified clinical instructors for the Cosmetic Continuum at LSU Dental School.

Dr. Barksdale's focus for his practice and his patients has been to use the most modern procedures and equipment available in dentistry. Creating healthy beautiful smiles is what he does best. With the artistry of smile enhancement techniques, patients can view changes in their smile before they ever sit in the dental chair.
