Cosmetic Dentist Dr. Marilyn Calvo


Meet Dr. Calvo whose passion is designing beautiful smiles and providing each and every one of her patients with a dental experience that exceed their highest expectations. Since 1979, Dr. Marilyn Calvo has built a reputation on uncompromising clinical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a warm gentle demeanor. She has spent her professional life dedicated to giving her patients the highest level of quality care while focusing on long term health and aesthetics.

Dr. Calvo graduated from the UCLA School of Dentistry in 1979 and since then has added to her education by pursuing expert training in all aspects of aesthetic, restorative and implant dentistry. Dr. Calvo is currently a clinical instructor at Esthetic Professionals, a post graduate teaching facility, where she teaches dentists from around the world the best of cosmetic dentistry. Her work has been published in the highly acclaimed Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry, which sets the standard in cosmetic dentistry. She has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors, the governing body of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. This position is a testament to her commitment to excellence.

Most recently, Dr. Calvo received the distinct honor of becoming only one of less than 260 (in the world!) Accredited by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. As one of the nation's top cosmetic dentists, she is dedicated to helping her patients achieve all of their dental dreams and desires!

Dr. Calvo has spent countless hours volunteering at philanthropic organizations such as National Charity League, St. Joseph Medical Center Childrens Dental Clinic and the UCLA Apollonians. She participates in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry's Give Back a Smile program which provides treatment to victims of domestic abuse. She also enjoys spending time with her extended family and friends and particularly enjoys cooking and entertaining. She and her husband, John, have three children.
