The Wand

A special new computer operated anesthetic device which makes anesthesia virtually painless!
We're always concerned about patient comfort when we perform dental treatments. And thanks to an advanced, computerized medication delivery system called "The WAND", we can now administer local anesthetic injections with little or no discomfort.

Discomfort from a dental injection is not usually due to the needle itself, but from injecting the solution too quickly. The Wand’s control mechanism manages the anesthetic's flow and volume at a slow rate, eliminating sensation by keeping the area below the pain threshold. In fact, "The WAND" system even drops a tiny bit of medication at the injection site prior to needle insertion, creating a comfortable injection pathway.

Dental Implants

Few advances in Cosmetic Dentistry have been as great as Dental Implants. Briefly stated, Dental Implants replace single missing teeth or anchor multiple teeth together like a bridge or a denture. Dentures are necessary whenever all the teeth are missing in either upper or lower jaw.

An implant is titanium screw or root placed in the jaw. After the dental implant heals then your Cosmetic Dentist places a single crown, a bridge or denture over the implant(s).

Whether you are a candidate for dental implants is on an individual basis. If you are missing teeth, your Cosmetic Dentist will explain all tooth replacement options with you.

Dentures

Replacements for missing teeth, which cannot be restored with a fixed bridge. In the past, full and partial dentures were completely removable supported by remaining teeth and or tissue. With the technology of dental implants, now full and partial dentures can also be anchored in the jaw with enough support to eat an apple, just like natural teeth.

DURAthin® Veneers

DURAthin veneers are very thin porcelain veneers designed to adhere directly to the front of teeth. Their unique, thin composition allows placement without the need for preparatory enamel or tooth structure removal. Whether you want the smile of your dreams or simply need to protect your teeth from wear, chips, or fractures, DURAthin veneers may allow you to have the esthetics and function you want, while allowing you to keep your teeth's structure intact.

And there’s more good news…. If you ever want to have DURAthins removed, you can. Traditional veneers are permanent because to place them, natural tooth structure is removed. Because no enamel reduction is required with DURAthins, your natural tooth structure is maintained. Any dentist can simply remove the veneers and your natural smile will be restored.

Air Abrasion

Is it stain or decay?? Don’t be fooled by the small size. There are grooves in the tooth that a toothbrush can’t clean These areas are decayed, and although small, they can go deep into the tooth. The most conservative method of eliminating these tiny cavities is with an Air Abrasion Unit. It uses a high powered sander to dust away the decay, usually requiring no anesthetic or drilling!
